Kiara Baskin, CD, CLC

As a certified doula and lactation counselor, Kiara is a dedicated birth worker who takes an integrative approach to birth and parenthood. With over 10 years of patient care experience and 6 years in maternal child health, she brings a wealth of knowledge and believes all families should have access to evidence-based information and resources about birth and parenthood. Kiara is a familiar face within the community through her previous works with Strong Beginnings Healthy Start, and as Co-Chair of the Healthy Kent Breastfeeding Coalition. She has been recognized by MomsBloom as Health Professional of the Year 2019, one of GR Kids top recommended doulas, and also received acknowledgments by way of proclamation recognizing Doula Appreciation Week as an official week in the City of Grand Rapids and State of Michigan. Kiara is the proud mother of two and a West Michigan native.
