D’Angela Pitts, M.D.

Dr. D’Angela Pitts currently leads the Henry Ford Health equity strategy to lower maternal and infant mortality in Southeastern Michigan. She has been a physician within the Henry Ford Health since 2020 serving as Maternal Fetal Medicine staff physician and Associate Program Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency. She has been active in medical education and global health with a focus on health disparities both locally and globally, maternal complications, obstructive sleep apnea and fetal abnormalities. She attended Howard University for medical school and residency and University of Michigan for maternal fetal medicine fellowship.
