Courtney Latimer, M.A

Courtney Latimer earned her Master of Science Degree in Health Administration in 2014 from Central Michigan University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in public health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Education from Southern Connecticut State University (New Haven, CT). She has been working in public health and wellness since 2008. Courtney’s public health experiences is localized in Detroit, MI and ranges from nutrition/physical activity to family planning education and community engagement. Prior to joining Henry Ford Health, Courtney began her career as a health educator for the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion before joining the Michigan State University Extension’s team where she became a supervising educator. Currently, Courtney is the Manager of Henry Ford Health’s Community Health Worker Hub and Program Manager of the Women Inspired Neighborhood (WIN) Network: Detroit, an infant mortality reduction program that utilizes group prenatal care and community resources to ensure infants thrive through their first birthday and beyond. As a current resident and lifelong Detroiter, Courtney is committed to providing quality programming and resources to create a healthier environment for her community and family.
