Sheree Jones, PhD

Research Data Associate

Dr. Sheree Jones joined the Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association (BMBFA) in 2024 as a Research Data Associate. She has research experience in K-12 and post-secondary institutions. 

Dr. Jones is a Detroit native and earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University. In May 2023, she earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from the University of Georgia. During her graduate studies, she participated in various mentoring groups designed to improve the lives of juvenile delinquents. Additionally, she was an educator, athletic liaison, and professional learning community leader in Detroit Public Schools. Most recently, she has managed and analyzed institutional data for Morehouse College. 

Dr. Jones is proud to be a Black mom. She understands the importance of health equity in her community. Most importantly, her role in BMBFA will allow her to contribute to ending racial inequities in prenatal care for Black women.
