Learn ways to enhance breastfeeding rates among A.A women.

Objectives:
1. List current barriers and facilitators specific to breastfeeding among African American women.
2. Explain why the social ecological framework is most useful for understanding those current breastfeeding interventions revealed through the literature.
3. Identify characteristics to successful interventions and strategies that impact initiation and duration of breastfeeding with particular focus on low-income African American mothers’ maternal psycho-logical vulnerabilities during the early postpartum period.

Earn continuing education credits for IBCLC and RD. Continuing education credits will only be given for the registered attendee. Each viewer must register individually. You will be required to complete an evaluation after the completion of the webinar.
